Full member of the European Reference Network for Hepatological Diseases (ERN-RARE LIVER)

The main mission of the Center is to focus on early diagnosis of autoimmune liver diseases which is beneficial both for the patient and the health system through high quality health services ensured by the following:

• The multidisciplinary scientific approach of patients with the abovementioned diseases
• The specialized services in accordance to current guidelines
• The consultation regarding patients referred to our Center from Greece or abroad
• The contribution to high quality training and scientific development of doctors (Residents and Specialists) as well as nurses and paramedical staff
• The design and conduction of clinical and research projects regarding the pathogenesis of these diseases, potential prognostic markers and new treatments
• The development of collaboration with patient associations at a local and international level
• The development of collaborations with other Centers of Expertise nationally and internationally within the frame of Centers of Expertise Networks
